Recycle
Curbside Recycling
Recycling is benefical to the community and the environment by preventing pollution, saving energy and preseverving natural resourcess. Recycling is easy with a Blue Recycle cart. All recyclables on the Yes list go in the Blue Recycle cart. Residents are encouraged to separate their recyclabs and place them in the blue cart.

State legislation requires all residents and businesses to divert recyclables from the landfill. Recycling reduces landfill emissions, preservices natural resources, and conserves energy. Recycling is easy with a Blue Recycle cart.
Recycling
Recyclables are recovered by a combination of manual and mechanical sorting. Sorted materials are processed and prepared for shipment to and end-users. Recyclable materials are made into new products and materials.
How To Participate in the Recycle Program ?
NOTE: All recyclables on the YES list go in the Blue Recycle cart. Recyclables should be loose in the Blue Recycle cart. Do not use plastic bags; plastic bags become caught in equipment and slow down the sorting process.*
When ?
The Recycle cart will be collected biweekly on your garbage collection day. Place carts at the curb by 4:00 a.m. Carts must hve 3 feet of clearance on all sides from other carts. Carts must have 6 feet clearance on all sides from vehicles, boats, trailers, and all other objects.
